These courses give students the confidence and qualifications to progress in education or employment.

Why Study at a Learning Centre?

  • You don't have to travel to Lerwick
  • Small class sizes or individual study
  • Great study support
  • 'Drop in' help and advice available on interviews, application forms, etc
  • Many courses are FREE to study
  • Some students may be entitled to a fee waiver or ILA funding, support with childcare and travel expenses

You can learn in classes by open learning, computer-based learning and video conference.
