Learning Centres

For people who want to study part-time in an informal, central Lerwick location, the college is offering a growing range of part time courses in communication, numeracy, computing and English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL) at Islesburgh Community Centre, Lerwick (Lerwick Community Learning).

Learning Centres are for you whether:

  • you want to take a first step back into learning, or study for a degree
  • you are keen to get qualifications or to learn how to take better digital photos
  • you want to do beginners computing or advanced ECDL
  • you want to get help applying for jobs or to develop a new interest in friendly company
