Whalsay learning centre

The Whalsay Learning Centre was previously housed in the meeting room of the Whalsay Leisure Centre. It was established in 2000 when it was affiliated to Shetland College UHI and was part of the process whereby 5 college learning centres were established throughout Shetland to ensure that learning opportunities are accessible to as many people as possible.

As of September 2013, community learning provision for the island was relocated to Whalsay Junior High School.

For information about courses available see the part-time evening and day classes page.
