At the Centre for Island Creativity, research is at the forefront of our activities. We aim to foster innovative and interdisciplinary research projects that explore the intersections of creativity, culture, and place. Our research embodies an understanding of the role of remote, rural and island locations as focal points of creativity and knowledge exchange. The centre's research themes are guided both by the disparate interests of our academic staff and research students, and by the needs and challenges faced by the communities we are embedded within.

Please see our staff page for more information about research by our staff.
