Foundation Apprenticeships and Academy Programmes
Along with SIC Schools Service and NAFC Marine Centre UHI, we work in partnership to deliver courses providing the opportunity to gain experience working alongside professionals in engineering, business, construction and social care. You will be able continue your valuable secondary school education, while gaining professionally recognised qualifications and experience. Each of the below courses will be available as a subject choice, replacing two school subjects. Therefore, if you enrol on one of these opportunities, you will study 3 school subjects in S5 and in S6, as well as coming to college. You will spend two afternoons a week in college as well as having some time set aside for independent study. You will be matched to an employer appropriate to your course and a work place mentor will be available to you.
This qualification is designed to provide Senior Year (S5 and S6) pupils the opportunity to develop skills and knowledge for entry into a career in the Business/Administration sector.
