Green Week 1st to 5th November

Green Week 2021 has been organised by the university's Environment and Sustainability Group in partnership with HISA and coincides with the first week of COP26, the world’s biggest international summit on climate change being held in Glasgow.

Green Week provides an opportunity to raise awareness of environmental issues and the importance of sustainability, whilst encouraging us all to think about what action we can take in our day-to-day lives to be a little greener!

There are lots of events and activities for you to get involved in, as well as promotion of resources to support you in making positive changes towards a more sustainable lifestyle. Take a look at the new Green Resources Hub

A programme of online sessions is open for bookings.  PDF Timetable is also available to view. Events are open to all UHI students and staff. Please book using your UHI email address.

Why not take a look and see if there are any that interest you?  You can book your place and find out more here.

Let’s see if Shetland can get the most mileage!

Enter Our Green Week Short Story Competition!

The short story competition will ask the question:

The competition will be open from the 1st to the 12th November and the panel will judge them by the following week with winners announced on Friday, 19th.

Please send your entry (1 entry per student) to hisaactivities@uhi.ac.uk  before the 12th November, 5pm.
