Business and consultancy

UHI Shetland offers a wide range of consultancy services and training to business both in and beyond Shetland.

We offer a range of professionally accredited training and development courses for industry. We can work with employers to identify training needs, tackle potential skills shortages and training to support new or existing employees.

Vocational training and apprenticeships are supported by UHI Shetland in a wide range of specialisms.

With many years of experience supporting fishing and aquaculture, we understand the needs of the industry. We have a range of facilities such as vessels and marine hatchery available for commercial hire.
