International Computer Driving Licence - Advanced ICDL

What is special about this course?

The Advanced International Computer Driving Licence is a highly regarded and widely recognised computer user qualification. The Advanced ICDL certification demonstrates your high level competence in a range of Microsoft 365 applications including: Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access.

Entry requirements

ICDL group award or relevant ICDL modules

OR

PDA IT in Business or relevant HN units.

All applicants will be interviewed.

How will I study my course?

  • Part Time
  • Open Learning

This course runs continuously during college term time and can be started at different entry dates during the year. You can study out-with the college if you prefer and simply come in to sit your tests.

If you prefer to study by open learning, we have an option available that includes self-study materials, access to a tutor by telephone and email and occasional class tutor time and practice testing.

If you would like to study Advanced ICDL at college we have access to one class per week. You can select your preferred class at time of enrolment.

What can I do on completion of my course?

Academic: You can progress on to our Higher National Certificate (HNC) Computing, HNC Business, or related degree courses.

Employment/Career: You might like to consider applying for office-related jobs.

Former students have: Progressed onto further study and gained promotion in related work areas.
