Hairdressing (SCQF Level 5) Modern Apprenticeship
What is special about this course?
Currently this course is offered as a Modern Apprenticeship. This course is designed for those who want to become a junior stylist at the end of this programme. It is the perfect springboard for a future career in the industry. During the course students will learn all aspects of salon work from styling to reception and health and safety skills. Students are expected to learn independently and be employed within a salon.
Entry requirements
Applicants should be effective communicators, have artistic flair and ability, good personal presentation, physical stamina and a high level of manual dexterity.
Previous experience of working in a salon is desirable.
Students will need to attend an interview.
