ECDIS Classes Start
11 April 2016 - The first of a series of ECDIS (Electronic Chart Display & Information System) classes started at the NAFC Marine Centre this week.
The course trains fishermen and other seafarers to use electronic chart display and information systems, rather than paper charts, to maintain a safe navigational watch. Demand for this training has been high and in response NAFC is running a series of week-long ECDIS courses over the next few months.
