UHI Shetland wins Gold at Pearson National Teaching Awards 2025

UHI Shetland has achieved national recognition by winning the Gold award for School or College Partnership Programme of the Year at the prestigious Pearson National Teaching Awards 2025.

The award celebrates UHI Shetland’s successful School–College Partnership Programme with Shetland Islands Council, which provides S5 and S6 pupils across the isles with the opportunity to study at UHI Shetland and gain qualifications alongside their school studies. This initiative offers pathways into local industries, equipping young people with practical experience and confidence to enter the workforce.
