Lesson 2 - Welfare Boat and Marine Cage Site

In this lesson the learner will explore 2 outdoor workplace scenarios of the aquaculture industry. They will learn about routine tasks carried out in salmon husbandry to ensure the health and well-being of the salmon.

Firstly, by exploring common diseases and parasites on a welfare boat, and carrying out health checks to simulate the work of a fish health technician.

Secondly, by carrying out work commonly completed by fish husbandry workers to maintain the marine cage site.
