Skills for Work

content

If you are in Secondary 3 or 4 and are keen to get a taster of a particular career and experience college life while still at school, these courses are for you. Courses run every alternate Friday, for either one or two years depending on the subject. This is your chance to acquire hands-on practical skills that could help you secure a job in the future.  Not only that, but you will build your self-confidence and learn other key skills such as time-keeping, professional appearance, problem solving and customer care.

If you are interested in any of these courses, please contact your Pupil Support Teacher.

NAFC Marine Centre UHI hosts the Aquaculture, Engineering and Maritime skills courses.
