Skills for Work
These courses are chosen by those in Secondary 2 for studying in Secondary 3 and 4. If you are keen to get a taster of a particular career and experience college life while still at school, these courses are for you.
Courses run every alternate Friday, for 18 months depending on the subject. This is your chance to acquire hands-on practical skills that could help you secure a job in the future. Not only that, but you will achieve a recognised SQA qualification as well as building your self-confidence and learning other key skills such as time-keeping, professional appearance, problem solving and customer care.
