An opportunity for Further Education students at Shetland UHI to spend a month in Norway on work placement. *With the Covid-19 pandemic, there is no update as yet for a 2020-2022 project but do keep an eye out or contact us for more information.*
Offering fully-funded reciprocal work placements for students in vocational training, Shetland Islands Council and the college have worked with partner organisations in Voss, Norway since January 2011.
- Prior to 2015, this project was made possible owing to a successful application under the Leonardo da Vinci Mobility arm of the European Union's Lifelong Learning Programme.
- In 2018 the college submitted a successful bid to Erasmus+ for continuation of this project for the academic years 2018/19 and 2019/20.
- The most recent student blog is from our 2019 and 2020 groups. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our 2020 group of students unfortunately had to return early before they could start their placements.
