Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS)

Students undertaking a full-time Higher Education course (HNC, HND or degree) may apply to Student Awards Agency for Scotland for tuition fee grants, student loans and bursaries.

• If you have never previously applied to SAAS for funding you should use the First Application section of the SAAS website.
• If you have previously applied to SAAS for funding you should use the Applied Before section of the SAAS website.
• Scalloway Campus's HNC and HND courses are classed as 'full-time'. If you are applying for funding for the  you must state 'January' as the start date.
